🎨 ACTIVITIES & EXTRAS 🎨
A little bit of everything! 💙 Here I’ll share fun activities for kiddos, helpful printables for parents, learning games, and other extras I create or come across that I think are worth sharing. Some may be things I use with James, and some may just be something fun or helpful for you to try!

Before I Say “It’s Behavior”…
Sometimes what looks like “behavior” is really a clue that something else is going on. I made this as a reminder to slow down and look at what might be underneath—communication, sensory needs, hunger, tiredness, discomfort, too many demands, a change in routine, or simply needing more time or a break.
The second page gives you space to write down what you noticed and what helped, so you can start noticing patterns and keep track of what actually works for your child.
HOW WE’RE USING IT WITH JAMES:
I use this as a reminder for myself that when James is having a hard time, there may be more going on than what I’m seeing in that moment. It helps me stop and think through what he may be trying to communicate or what might be making things harder before I decide how to respond.
