🎃 HALLOWEEN VISUALS 🎃

Halloween visuals you can download and use with your child. I’ll also share a little about how we use them with James. 💜

Halloween Choice Board: Visual choice board for Halloween activities.

Halloween Choice Board

A Halloween choice board with different activities your child can choose from.

How We’re Using It With James:
We’ll use this board to give James a simple visual way to choose what he wants to do. Since he’s very visual, he can look at the choices and communicate his choice however works for him—by pointing, using his AAC, or using his voice. The goal isn’t how he tells us—it’s giving him a choice and making sure we hear it. 💜

Trick-or-Treat Choice Board: Visual communication board for trick-or-treating.

Trick-or-Treat Choice Board

A Halloween communication board with eight useful choices to support children while trick-or-treating. 🎃

How We’re Using It With James:

I’ll bring this board along when James goes trick-or-treating so he has another way to communicate throughout the experience. He can point to a choice, use his AAC, use his voice, or communicate however works for him. I especially want him to be able to tell me when he needs help, needs a break, is ready for the next house, or is all done. The goal isn’t how he communicates—it’s making sure he has a way to tell me what he needs.

Halloween First-Then Board: Halloween-themed First-Then visual for transitions.

Halloween First–Then Board

A Halloween First–Then board to help your child see what is happening now and what is coming next. Use the included Halloween picture cards to create different First–Then combinations for getting ready, trick-or-treating, transitioning home, and more.

How We’re Using It With James:

I’ll use this with James to make Halloween activities and transitions a little more predictable. I can show him what we need to do first and what he can expect next, especially when we’re getting ready to go trick-or-treating or when it’s time to head home. Since James does really well with visuals, being able to actually see FIRST and THEN can help him understand what’s happening without me having to keep repeating myself.

Halloween Yes/No Cards: Halloween-themed yes and no communication cards.

Halloween Yes / No Cards

These Halloween Yes / No cards give your child an easy visual way to answer questions and communicate their choices. They can point to YES or NO, hand you a card, or use them alongside their AAC, speech, or other communication method.

How We’re Using It With James:

I’ll use these with James during Halloween activities when I want to give him a simple way to answer yes or no. He can point to a card, use his AAC, use his voice, or communicate however works best for him. I especially like having a visual option available because sometimes answering a question is easier for him when he can actually see his choices.
